News: Installing BlackoutRO

We, the BlackoutRO staff, always try our best to accommodate every player asking non-item generating help regardless of severity of their problems. Unfortunately, there are times that inevitable, technical issues happen at some point which made us helpless to resolve these quickly. We acknowledge that installing this game in its current installer file has produced several issues, notably failure to extract files and setup.exe settings not saving. We apologize this happens to you especially during the time of staying put at home is a essential life-saving sacrifice.

Fortunately, our non-game-active staff member, @Wolfie, was able to track potential issues within .EXE form of current BlackoutRO installer which fixes aforementioned issues I listed. We are hoping that installation failure reports will be reduced at minimum. If you're still having installation issues after this fix, we need you to report to our forum site and/or Discord support channel.

Does any chances for a .dmg file for Mac users?

Hi Arving. There are no plans to create a direct installation for Macs as we lack the capabilities needed to create one.

It is still possible to play BlackoutRO on a Mac through something like Bootcamp, although we understand it can be very inconvenient to do so.
