Early Access, Website & Other Services Launch​

As mentioned in the previous two announcements, we will be running an Early Access period to ensure the server is ready for public use. It is an important activity as it gives us a chance to test our work, to ensure everything is where it should be.

Early Access Conditions:

• Early Access will begin at 03:00 UTC on August 9, 2018 and end at approximately 12:00 UTC on August 10, 2018.
• Only accounts with a last login date of June 1, 2017 or later will be able to login.
• All progress will be rolled back at the conclusion of Early Access.
• Those who play for at least one hour will have a Deviruchi Cape (an account bound costume lower headgear) transferred to their storage when the server officially goes live.

Other than the listed conditions, in order to take part, you will need to join the 'Blackout Showcase' group and read the 'Early Access' thread. It contains details of the program.

Website, Control Panel, Wiki, Ticket System Launches​

All four of these services will launch on August 9, 2018 at 00:00. If the website does not load after that time, try clearing your cache.

It was fun announcing things and being "the guy". With the server relaunch imminent, it is a good time to remind everybody that @Bunki, as the Head Game Master, is the face of the server. I will be doing my best to support him and the rest of the Staff Team from behind the scenes. I will still be a prominent figure as we look to stabilize the server.

And a personal message to the OBT players, I am making a big effort to delegate authority. Doing so effectively should lead to a healthy environment for Staff and Support Team relationships with players.

Hey everyone it has come to my attention that there was some slight miscommunication on my part about the ODC gears. I forgot to include that the "Seven-League boots" were also included on the refund and removal from accounts, but they will still be obtainable in game! I am sorry for overlooking that one peice of gear.

It is one per account and idle time will not be counted towards play time. So it is not possible for vendors to collect one.

But wouldn't it still be possible as long as you have multiple independent accounts created after June 1, 2017? If you spend an hour on each account actually logged in, not just vending (i was using vendor accounts as an example) shouldn't that fulfill all the requirements for each account? Or is this tied to the forum account and not the account you actually log into?

That is true. We are not putting a great requirement on them.

Not that it makes an awful lot of difference. They're account-bound, so people won't be selling them for over 9000b zeny.
