no, no, no, no, no, please no.
It seems like you put a fair deal of work into this, unless it's a copy pasted guide, which i'm not accusing it to be. So I will inform you on some things to consider if you decide to write more guides.
Before I start, I understand that play styles vary from player to player, I'm not against this guide's completely inefficient armour swapping strategy.
That said, i'm 100% against the information, and methods given. Having bad or incorrect information is in no way better than having no information.
I'll state what I know to be incorrect, whether blatantly incorrect, or incorrect in the manner of useful/reliable methods.
Type - TotalRES / 10 (10 types) = AVG RES
First off; This is the worst way to approach weighing armour values. Having an average resistance scale is not a reliable source of information.
In PvP there are multiple aspects to knowing what armour you should be swapping to. Swapping to an armour based on a pseudo scale of effectiveness is as effective as randomly pushing all of your armour keys at the same time.
**This guide assumes PvP so we will assume having -25% damage taken from any element will NOT heal, meaning all negative values will be treated as 0's.
Secondly; this is 100% wrong.
If you're making guides for the public, make sure to test things before spurting out misinformation.
Now you might be wondering... what good is all of this garbage?
Yep.
B) The most efficient defensive types (per AVERAGE reduction)
Again, averaging out every element for every possible situation is 100% hot garbage.
There are multiple match-ups for every class. And even some special match-ups on top of those.
The takeaway being, learning how to read the match-up/current fight will benefit you a great deal more than going off of a scale of averaged armours.
