To everyone,
First, we want to thank each of you for playing BlackoutROto AFK despite the fact when GM-Redcar announced his retirement.
We are able to finalize administrative transition work and staff duty re-assignments from GM-Redcar and GM-Pixellius administrations.
In addition to introducing new people in charge, we are also introduce new leadership system for them to utilize in server operations.
Without further ado, here's your Server Management Team. A diagram is attached below to show the new structure hierarchy.
What are changes implemented?
How are we going to enforce server rules and regulations in this setup?
More information will be added after few days. FEEDBACK AND CLARIFYING QUESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.
Best of luck,
GM-Collaboration, Community Manager

We are able to finalize administrative transition work and staff duty re-assignments from GM-Redcar and GM-Pixellius administrations.
In addition to introducing new people in charge, we are also introduce new leadership system for them to utilize in server operations.
Without further ado, here's your Server Management Team. A diagram is attached below to show the new structure hierarchy.
What are changes implemented?
- The Administrator position is dissolved. It will be replaced by a directorial executive system which will contain 3 members. This group will be called Server Management Team. Its administrative powers is split into three task groups. Each task group leader in the team is equal to one another.
- Development - Manages future game-related content. It will be lead by Head of Development.
- Event Management - Manages daily activities of the server. It will be lead by Event Manager.
- Community Management - Manages communication channels the server operates within. It will be lead by Community Manager.
- As a whole, Server Management Team is responsible for:
- Applying and approving major penalties to players who committed server rule violations.
- Approving use of permanent ban as a suggested penalty.
- Approving important administrative decisions regarding server improvements.
- A new position called Auditor is introduced. It's an independent position similar to Team Manager position during GM-Redcar administration with better specialized responsibilities. This person will:
- Act as an intermediate between players and staff [Game Masters and Server Management Team] for complaints, and
- Monitor and moderate actions of staff members.
- To resolve availability issues. Administrator job requires several amounts of dedicated time to monitor server operations especially on out-of-game side. Directorial-based Server Management Team system will make several task groups in server operations run in synchronized basis which helps reduce bureaucratic gridlock.
- To resolve leadership stability issues. Instability always exists but it can be minimized with the help of this new system. Since tasks are split between three groups, burnout fatigue to persons-in-charge will be reduced hence improved motivation.
How are we going to enforce server rules and regulations in this setup?
- Current Game Masters will have full access to disciplinary commands to apply in-game penalties like @ban.
- Auditor has an obligation to apply penalties to staff members, if they commit regulatory and ethical violations.
More information will be added after few days. FEEDBACK AND CLARIFYING QUESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED.
Best of luck,
